As you know we have been doing an inquiry on the Sun and its place in space. Here is some of our fiction writing inspired by this inquiry:

The Planet Hidden in the Stars

"Sophie wake up", said Mum." You're going to be late'.
I get up and get on a pink space suit then I put a blue one on my chihuahua. Mum drops me off at the space station where I meet Daniella. Then I get into a ship that is covered with diamonds and it is pink. We count down, "10,9,8,7,6,5,4,3,2,1, blast off!"
We shot up, the ship rocks then blasts into the stars. We zoom past the sun. It is so boiling it melted our secret weapon. I get sun burnt! We went into the milky way by accident. We are surrounded by amazing comets.

Orbit

I went to Pluto with Tom and I saw there were rocks on that planet. Me and Tom and Izaak had fun on Pluto. It was very cold on Pluto. It was really beautiful! The Sun was a little star on Pluto. The moon is very little. Jupiter has twelve moons and Earth has one moon. Planets go in orbit. I like Pluto. It is rough landing. I like space . It is very cool!

Space Trip

I am in  the spaceship and we are close to the sun. We are taking a photo of the sun and we saw lots of stars. We saw one moon. My space ship is like an aeroplane.
